Original painting SOLD. This painting was inspired by the original painting by Gustave Moreau "Les Licornes" in the late 1800's, Paris. Gustave is known as a major figure in French Symbolist painting whose main emphasis was the illustration of biblical and mythological figures. As a Unicorn myself, I fell in love with this painting the minute I saw it, and deeply respect Gustave's painting mastery. By referencing old masters work, I can be a student of all the old masters.
